The Alassio HEUFORIA 2026 Granfondo was a huge celebration for cyclists and their supporters. Under a sun that treated everyone to a splendid day by the sea, 650 riders cycled along the route organised by GS Alpi. As usual, the race set off from the Muretto in Alassio and finished at the summit of the Madonna della Guardia climb after a total of 90.6 km.

The Deputy Mayor of Alassio, Angelo Galtieri, gave the starting signal for this great cycling celebration, cementing the strong partnership between GS Alpi and the Municipality of Alassio, which sponsored the event. There were plenty of cyclists, but also plenty of families: thanks to the beautiful weather, many supporters were able to enjoy the sunshine along Alassio’s seafront, whilst the cyclists tackled the many ups and downs that characterise this event.

Victory went to Alberto Nardin. The MgKVis Promotech rider managed to secure the win thanks to a late sprint at the finish following a thrilling duel with Lucio Pierantozzi (Team Da-Dor), who took second place. The overall podium was completed by Simone Impellizzeri, Pierantozzi’s team-mate, who finished 41 seconds behind the winner.

In the women’s race, the Rodman Team secured a one-two finish. Beatrice Blanc took the lead on the Madonna della Guardia climb, whilst her team-mate Laura Bertone finished second. The overall podium was completed by Mara Oprandi (Team Biemme Garda Sport).

The day drew to a close with the final pasta party held by the sea and the closing awards ceremony. As the curtain falls on the Granfondo Alassio HEUFORIA 2026, Gs Alpi brings to a close a season of great organisational successes and bids everyone farewell until next year.
