Anticipation is growing for the twelfth edition of the Granfondo Internazionale Alassio, scheduled for Sunday, September 28, 2025. The GS Alpi returns to Liguria for the season finale, where it all began last February with the Granfondo Laigueglia.

Making the Alassio event even more special will be a welcome gift reserved for all registrants: a shoe bag from Veloplus, an Italian company specializing in the production of technical clothing and cycling accessories. This extra touch of thoughtfulness for cycling enthusiasts will allow them to carry their shoes in a practical and organized way.

Veloplus, with years of experience in the sector, is synonymous with quality and passion for cycling, offering solutions designed to improve the comfort and performance of every cyclist. The inclusion of a shoe bag in the race pack represents an added value, confirming the attention GS Alpi pays to every detail for its athletes, as well as strengthening a partnership present in many of the sports group’s events.

The Granfondo di Alassio will unfold over a single 90.6 km route with a 1,790 meter elevation gain, starting from the sea and immediately climbing towards the Ligurian hills, amid breathtaking scenery and roads beloved by professional cycling. The grand finale will, as always, be at the summit, with the finish line at the Santuario della Madonna della Guardia, a climb that will undoubtedly select the strongest.

After the finish line, there will be time for well-deserved relaxation with a pasta party and awards ceremony in the heart of Alassio.

Preliminary operations will take place in Piazza Partigiani: Saturday (10:00–12:00 / 14:30–19:30) and Sunday (07:00–08:30).

Registration at a discounted rate (50 euros) until August 30th. This fee includes: race pack with Veloplus shoe bag, bib, mechanical and medical assistance, refreshments, showers, pasta party, and a guarded bike park. Cyclists will be able to ride in maximum safety, thanks, as usual, to the great organizational effort put in by the GS Alpi, with supervised intersections and a significant deployment of volunteers, law enforcement, and traffic police along the route.

All those already registered for the Granfondo Alpi del Mare will benefit from a discounted registration fee for the Granfondo Alassio, at a cost of 40 euros.
